Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Hodor Solutions uses cookies and similar browser storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) across hodorsolutions.com, our product apps, and our product marketing sites. Each product has its own section below listing exactly what that product sets.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. We also use localStorage and sessionStorage, which work similarly; this policy covers all of them and we refer to them together as "cookies."

The categories we use

  • Essential — required for the site or app to work: signing you in, keeping your session, protecting forms against forgery (CSRF), and remembering your cookie choices. These cannot be switched off.
  • Functional — remember optional preferences (for example, interface settings). Only set where a product actually offers such features.
  • Analytics — help us understand usage. We currently expect no analytics cookies on any Hodor surface.
  • Marketing — used for advertising. We currently expect no marketing cookies on any Hodor surface.

Where a surface sets only essential cookies, its cookie banner is a short notice rather than a consent form, because there is nothing optional to choose.

The consent cookie

When you dismiss or answer a cookie banner, we store your choice in a cookie named hodor_consent. It records the policy version you saw, your category choices, and a timestamp. It lasts 12 months and is shared between a product's www and app subdomains so you are not asked twice. It is itself an essential cookie.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, its version number increases and the banner will appear again so you can review your choices.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies will prevent signing in. Where non-essential categories exist, you can change your choices via the banner's preference controls.

Hodor Solutions websites & admin

The hodorsolutions.com website and each product's marketing site set no cookies of their own today; once the cookie notice ships, they store only the hodor_consent choice cookie described in this policy. The contact and demo-request forms do not set cookies.

Our internal administration tool at admin.hodorsolutions.com — a super-admin-only surface, not available to customers — sets three essential sign-in cookies:

  • authjs.session-token — keeps an administrator signed in · session · Essential

  • authjs.callback-url — returns the administrator to the right page after sign-in · session ·

Essential

Hodor Solutions also operates private, invitation-only tools that are not marketed publicly. Their websites and apps follow this same policy and set only essential cookies: sign-in session, security (CSRF) protection, and the hodor_consent choice cookie.

Hodor CRM

Apart from the map question above, no functional, analytics, or marketing cookies are currently expected for Hodor Vault.

Hodor Contractor Portal

Do Not Sell or Share

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law (CCPA/CPRA). This applies to every Hodor product and website.

Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of today. If that ever changes for a specific product, its app will include a "Do Not Sell/Share" control, and this section will say so explicitly before any such practice begins.
